Set Up Google Analytics

If you don't know what Google Analytics is, haven't installed it on your website, or have installed it but never look at your data, then this post is for you. While it's hard for many to believe, there are still websites that are not using Google Analytics (or any analytics, for that matter) to measure their traffic. In this post, we're going to look at Google Analytics from the absolute beginner's point of view. Why you need it, how to get it, how to use it, and workarounds to common problems.

Why you need Google Analytics

Working with Widgets; become a Widget Wizard!

We'll cover all of this in this article! OK, maybe not the wizard part, but you will for sure learn how to operate our various widgets and give your website the great look and feel it deserves!

What are widgets?

Widgets are a new feature we recently introduced as part of our V2 website version. They are essentially small interface "boxes" that can accomplish different functions - such as showing an image box, a news carousel, social media icons, and many more - and can be added to your website pages. They allow for great customization opportunities and while not only giving your website a great look and feel, they are super easy to manage and arrange.

How do they work?

Let's begin with adding a new widget. We'll use the homepage as an example:
On your homepage, click on "Edit Website" at the top right of the page

You will notice some new options have just become available at the top right of each widget boxes on your page, along with the "Add A Widget" buttons at the bottom

Let's break down the buttons available at the top right of each widget:

How to Login to the website editor

From the homepage of your website, go to your browser address bar:

At the end of the URL, type in "/login" as shown below and press the enter key on your keyboard:

This will take you to the login screen where you can enter your Kreezee credentials. These are the same credentials you use to login to the Kreezee platform. Then, press the "Sign In" button:

You have now been redirected to your home page and can now activate the website editor by clicking on the "Edit Website" button at the top right of the page:
*To log out, simply click the small door icon at the top right next to your username as shown on the screenshot below

Widgets: Team Standings

On your web page, click on "Edit Website" at the top right of the page

Click on "Add A Widget"

The following list will appear, in which you will select "Team Standings" by pressing the "+" sign next to it:

You can now see the Teams Standings widget has appeared on your page. This will show the teams standings for a chosen season. You can select which season to show the standings in the widget settings by clicking the Gear button at the top right of the widget

The widget settings window will open. You can now select the season of your choosing in the drop-down menu. Make sure to save your changes by clicking the "Save" button at the bottom of the window

Add/Remove Standings columns with the checkboxes for BOTH mobile as well as desktop views:
